AppVita score safedrop as 5 out of 5!

AppVita just reviewed safedrop, and they gave us a full 5 stars, in their words WOW!

http://www.appvita.com/2010/09/06/safedrop-the-secure-way-to-share-info-online/

They particularly liked:

  • Users can set all the controls for their own accounts
  • View your messages with a web browser or a desktop tool
  • Use the API to control even more elements of your account
  • Only 3 SafeDrop admins have access to the data on the company servers

Let us know what you like - and dont like too!

The Bribery Act arrives in 2011 & should improve UK's status as one of the least corrupt countries in the world.

On 20th July 2010 the Ministry of Justice issued a press release on the Bribery Act 2010 (the "Bribery Act") stating that the Bribery Act would come into force in April 2011. The Bribery Act is aimed at reinforcing the reputation of the United Kingdom as one of the least corrupt countries in the world and seeks to pave the way for fairer practice by encouraging companies to adopt anti-bribery safeguards.

The most significant change for all companies is that the corporate offence is now one of strict liability. Therefore, under the Bribery Act, an organisation will automatically be guilty of a criminal offence where a bribe is paid on its behalf, subject to the defence of "adequate procedures".
